Burial took place in the Deavers Cemetery in Hohenwald. Funeral services were held at McDonald Funeral Home Decemat 1:00 p.m. Susie Jane Sims, 83, died Decemat Lewis County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Survivors include one son, Billy Whitworth of Columbia three daughters, Beverly Whitworth of Hohenwald, Gwenda Hall of Culleoka, and Linda Fronczak of Green Cove Springs, Florida seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and five great, great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hershel Whitworth. A retired employee of Dana Corporation, she was born Januin Birchwood. Whitworth was a daughter of the late Samuel David Edwards and Maudie Mae Adams Edwards. McDonald Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Survivors include two daughters, Penny Allison Carroll of San Fransico, California, and Elizabeth Amber Carroll of Hohenwald two brothers, Todd Richard Carroll and Randy Clark Carroll, both of Hohenwald one sister, Debbie Darlene Spurgeon, also of Hohenwald and two grandchildren. He was a laborer with Durham Construction. Carroll was born Apin Trenton, Michigan to the late Leonard Ray Carroll and Darlene Nancy Mae Williams Carroll. Burial took place in the Twin Oaks Cemetery. Perry Ray Carroll, age 53, passed away Decemat his residence in Hohenwald. Memorials may be made to Leipers Fork Primitive Baptist Church. Funeral services were conducted 1:00 p.m. Born in Williamson County to the late Bernice Rauleigh and Josie Price Johnson. Samuel Jackson Johnson, age 70 of Arrington passed away December 27, 2009. She is survived by two sisters, Mary Evelyn Longshore (Doyce) of Ethridge and Iva Lou Moore of Hohenwald three brothers, Paris Moore (Leda) of Hohenwald, Carl Moore (Marilyn) of Sun City, Arizona, and Lloyd Moore of Bayfield, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents, Naley Orbin and Annie Mae Ashmore Moore and two brothers, Melvin Moore and Troy Moore. Interment took place at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens. Tuesday, Decemwith Art McCormick officiating.
